Fast paced chilled food business that supply an array of customers across retail, hospitality and travel sectors.

They are currently seeking an interim Specification Technologist for a 6 month maternity cover contract.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this is a remote role where you’ll create, update and maintain specifications for a variety of customer accounts.

You will manage internal systems and external online specification portals ensuring all information is correctively collated and in line with the latest food legislation, regulatory and compliance standards.

The Person

Prior experience as an interim Specification Technologist within a chilled food category is required, as well as the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.

You will be able to work at pace and liaise with suppliers as well as cross functionally, and to ensure accurate information is obtained. You’ll need a good understanding of the technical processes of product development, superb attention to detail, organisation skills and the confidence to work autonomously.

Experience on Quadex being advantageous.
