Highly ambitious and passionate about good food, they are now looking for an experienced NPD Manager to support the business on a fixed term contract.
In this essential and innovative role you will lead the development of new products, managing the critical path from concept to launch whilst ensuring that technical and quality standards are achieved. Up to date with the latest trends, you'll apply your knowledge and passion for food into innovative ideas that will also enhance the existing range of products that are delivered on time and under budget.
You’ll conduct customer presentations alongside building and maintaining relationships, acting as the dedicated contact to provide accurate communication both internally and externally. Additionally you’ll work with the Category team to input product knowledge and customer insight, guaranteeing development is aligned with all of the key customer requirements.
We are looking for an NPD Manager who has a proven record of driving innovation within a fast-paced chilled/ fresh food category, supported by a strong understanding of food science and manufacturing processes. You’ll have a good eye for spotting up and coming market trends with the ability to apply your research and translate your findings into workable products.
It is essential that you have great project management skills as well as an articulate presentation style. You’ll also be extremely organised, comfortable working in a customer facing role and will have previous experience delivering results from concept to launch in a retail or foodservice environment.
