The Company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing British snacking brand with ambitious plans. Known for its premium, high-protein products, the business has built strong distribution across the major UK grocery retailers alongside a growing online presence and innovation pipeline. The company is evolving from a founder-led start-up into a category-leading FMCG business, making this an exciting time to join the team.
With a collaborative culture and a clear growth trajectory, this is a business where individuals can make a genuine impact, take ownership, and help shape how things are done as the company continues to scale.
The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of the supply chain, taking ownership of the planning process and ensuring product is available where and when customers need it. This is a truly end-to-end role, working across suppliers, co-manufacturers, logistics providers, and the packing operation to keep everything moving smoothly.
You’ll translate demand forecasts into robust supply plans, manage stock levels, support new product launches, and identify risks before they become problems. Beyond the day-to-day planning, the business is looking for someone who can challenge the status quo, spot gaps in the current model, and help build a supply chain that is fit for the next stage of growth.
This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail but can also step back and see the bigger picture. Whether that’s improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening stock strategies, building contingency plans, or creating better tools and processes, you’ll play a key role in future-proofing the supply chain as the business grows.
The Person
You’ll have experience within supply planning, demand planning or supply chain planning gained within FMCG, food or drink manufacturing, with a strong understanding of the realities of manufacturing operations. Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are essential, along with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and practical actions. Experience supplying into UK retailers would be highly beneficial, ideally across both ambient and chilled categories, with an appreciation of the service requirements, promotional activity and complexities that come with supporting major customer accounts. Experience with Unleashed would be a distinct advantage, although candidates with strong hands-on experience of comparable planning and ERP systems will also be considered.
Just as important is mindset. We’re looking for someone positive, proactive and naturally curious; someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging assumptions and finding smarter ways of working. Comfortable operating in a growing business, you’ll be happy to wear many hats, switch priorities when needed and know when to take action before an issue becomes a problem. This role would suit a planner who enjoys building models, spotting trends in data and looking ahead, ensuring the supply chain is prepared for growth, new opportunities and the inevitable challenges that come with scaling a successful FMCG business.
A can-do attitude, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work across multiple functions will be key. You’ll enjoy working in an environment where things move quickly, where no two weeks look quite the same, and where improvements are driven by growth, ambition and continuous learning. If you’re someone who thrives on turning data into insight, seeing opportunities before others do and helping build a supply chain ready for what comes next, we’d love to hear from you – – get in touch today for a confidential conversation.
