They are passionate about fresh, high-quality products and strive to delight distinguished customers time and time again. They have moved to a new production site to meet business growth, and have created the role of Production Chef Manager to help them continue their journey of success.

The Role

You will be leading the on site team of chefs, managing the day to day production to ensure projects are on track and product quality is achieved. You will also take a hands on approach to menu development, supporting the Executive Chef in coming up with innovative new offerings. This will include analysing future trends, spotting unique flavour opportunities and tasty offerings that will delight customers. As you’ll be creating products for various events and occasions, you will identify new concepts that will facilitate customer needs, pivoting to find solutions or alternatives to dietary needs and unique requirements. You will also analyse costings, source ingredients and maintain product specifications.

The Person

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef who wants to take their culinary expertise from the restaurant space and move into a fast-paced role within a highly regarded food business. Ideally you will have led a team and find joy in nurturing and developing those around you. Excellent communication skills, as well as planning and time management capabilities are essential to succeed.

Prior experience within contract catering or a production unit would be highly advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety, allergen management and food costings.
