A leader in their field, this growing business are passionate about artisan products and great tasting food. With a vast array of baked sweet and savoury snacks, and exciting times ahead, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Product to help them drive innovation and reach new heights.

Please note that this is a hybrid role after probation with 3 days in the office and some overseas travel a few times a year.

The Role

In this fast-paced and exciting role you’ll be reporting to the COO and lead the Product function where you will ensure innovation, product quality and technical work in harmony to bring exceptional products to market.

This is an all-encompassing role where you will be managing the whole product lifecycle, ensuring a strong product strategy and roadmap for both EPD and NPD across the business.

You will develop influential relationships with current and future co-manufacturing partners, suppliers and key customers, championing the highest technical standards, upholding brand values and successfully launching new products.

The Person

We need an experienced, charismatic and influential leader who understands how to get the best from their team and deliver an ambitious product strategy. You’ll have a proven track record of how you have translated vision and strategy into a tangible result.

You will have well-rounded product development and technical experience ideally with a food science / technology degree and a solid career in food manufacturing, having worked with co manufacturers. An understanding of outsourced environments and contract manufacturing would be advantageous.

We need someone who can develop collaborative relationships at every level, embracing new product areas whilst getting excited about technical innovation, quality and health. You’ll need a flexible approach where you can adapt quickly to new challenges and embrace the energy within a pacey business.
