As part of its ongoing evolution, there is now an opportunity for a Nutrition & Health Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering its health strategy.

This is a hybrid-based role with 3 days onsite in the North East.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Food & Drink, this is a highly influential role responsible for bringing the company’s health and nutrition strategy to life across its product range.

Acting as the internal expert on nutrition, the role works cross-functionally with product development, technical, marketing and commercial teams to ensure best practice application of nutrition principles, health claims and regulatory requirements. You will support and guide teams on nutrition modelling, ensure claims and labelling are accurate and compliant, and lead the delivery of key health commitments across the menu.

The role also involves owning nutrition data and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity in line with internal and external commitments. Alongside this, you will represent the business externally within industry forums, building strong networks and bringing insights back into the organisation.

Working closely with category, insight and NPD teams, you will help translate health and nutrition trends into commercially viable opportunities, influencing both innovation pipelines and long-term strategy.

The Candidate

This role is suited to an experienced nutrition professional with a strong grounding in both science and its practical application within a commercial food environment.

A degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is essential, along with registration as a UK nutritionist. You will bring a solid understanding of nutrition legislation, policy and its application within product development, alongside experience working within a fast-paced food manufacturing, retail or foodservice business.

Strong communication and influencing skills are key, as the role requires collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, as well as external bodies. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, interpreting data to inform decision-making and contributing to both short and long-term health strategies.

A proactive and collaborative mindset, combined with a passion for nutrition, consumer health and continuous improvement, will be essential for success in this role.
