As a leader in their field they are experiencing continual growth and are now seeking an accomplished Trade Marketing Executive who can help them stay ahead of their competitors.
In this varied role you’ll be reporting to the Commercial Director and will take responsibility for delivering targeted trade marketing activities within the foodservice & manufacturing sectors. Together with the NPD team you’ll assist with key trade and consumer activities across all channels, gaining a large and varied experience of cross function marketing including price and product promotions and POS. You’ll employ your researcher skills and will seek out hot new trends, check out what competitors are offering and contribute to presentations and meetings using the information you’ve found to inform and support current campaigns.
You’ll also be responsible for aspects of PR working with trade bodies and magazines, delivering effective marketing communication materials from packaging to promotional literature. Additionally you’ll be planning trade and consumer events such as food exhibitions.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic marketing professional who has experience in a similar environment with a focus on trade marketing. A genuine passion for food is also considered essential for this role. You will be positive, confident and organised with a real commitment to succeeding when faced with obstacles. First-rate interpersonal & communication skills are vital as you’ll be working closely within a team as well as external customers at all business levels. You’ll have great I.T skills and ideally would have used database systems previously.
