Our client is a prominent food business supplying the major retailers with a wide range of products in the chilled category. With their core values of quality, innovation and value, they are seeking a food graduate who can help them deliver key technical projects.
You will play an important part in the day to day running of the company’s busy Technical department, helping to manage product quality by supporting internal teams as well as major customers on technical queries including the preparation of specifications and artwork approval. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will assist in processing and following up on technical correspondence with customers and suppliers within set deadlines. You’ll also be collating and compiling technical data in response to customer site visits, transferring information into customer formats for specifications as well as KPI reports and internal systems. In addition you’ll participate in technical administrative duties including general enquiries as and when required.
Suit a Food Science or Technology graduate who ideally has some experience in a similar role and is now looking to apply their newly acquired technical knowledge and expand their analytical skills. Previous specifications experience within a food manufacturing environment is also desirable, however this is not essential. You’ll need to have excellent communication and organisation skills as you’ll be handling multiple projects and liaising with colleagues and customers at all business levels. You must also be proactive and able to use your own initiative, thinking outside the box to consistently reach and exceed customer and quality standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and are committed to achieving exceptional product quality then we’d like to hear from you.
If you are passionate about food and looking to utilise your technical knowledge in a fast paced yet supportive environment, then apply now or call Daniel on 0345 2600 737 for more information.
Although we do our utmost to respond to all applicants, there are times when this is just not possible due to sheer volume so if you have not heard from us within 5 working days then we are sorry to say your application for this role has not been successful.
Also, please note that we are only able to accept and respond to applications from candidates with eligibility to work in the UK and those who hold valid work visas.
