Our client is a privately owned food business which imports and distributes speciality fine foods, both chilled and ambient, to a range of manufacturing, retail and food service customers. As a leader in their field, they are experiencing continual growth and are now seeking a Commercial Analyst to support the sales team.
In this dynamic role you’ll be providing analytical support to the business where you’ll evaluate sales and category data, taking responsibility for the monthly commercial reporting schedule ensuring all rebates & over-riders are tracked and information relayed to all relevant internal & external parties. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact dealing with customer queries and retrieving information from product specifications in an efficient manner, in addition you’ll also play a key role in organising category information to support customer presentations for new product launches. You’ll analysing the commercial impact of price changes throughout the business to ensure profitability is maintained and budget forcasts are updated on a monthly basis.
You’ll ideally have previous food industry experience where you have developed your data analysis skills as well as a strong commercial and business acumen. Excellent IT, communication and organisation skills are essential along with the ability to develop relationships with internal teams.
