In this fast paced and challenging role you will use your tenacity and excellent business development/ sales skills to explore new opportunities and manage existing accounts within the food & drink industries. Thinking outside the box you’ll provide customers with solutions to their business needs through promoting the company’s manufacturing capabilities and flexibility whilst ensuring they receive the highest level of service. You’ll handle sales enquiries which are generated through the corporate website, social media and trade events making new connections and sales leads. You’ll be accountable for negotiating prices, promotions and payment terms with your customers making sure they get the best deal. Aware of your competitors’ lines you’ll also identify potential business opportunities and be instrumental in driving projects forward to increase the company’s position within the market place.
We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Account Executive who has previous experience of increasing business profitability within the food manufacturing industry. An interest in environmental and fair trade issues is advantageous but not essential. With great attention to detail, you’ll thrive on working under pressure and excel in achieving sales targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth. Working effectively within a team or using your own initiative, you’ll have excellent communication skills for sustaining relationships with internal and external colleagues and most importantly your customer base. You’ll also have strong presentation and negotiation skills in order to influence key decision makers.
