Our client is known as the go-to for chilled and ambient speciality and fine foods. They work in partnership with a diverse customer base and have continually grown from strength to strength. They’re now looking for an adaptable and ambitious Project Leader to join them on their continued road to success.
Reporting to the Project Manager you’ll be instrumental in delivering business projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams across supply chain, buying, technical and sales functions. You will also work with a supply base across Europe and abroad.
Using your tried and tested analytical approach you will assess, identify and prioritise activity to deliver key projects. You’ll need to be efficient at resolving any complications that may arise and have the confidence to take swift action, finding solutions and re-prioritising projects.
Educated to a degree level or above, you will have previous experience in a food related supply chain role where you have worked with, UK, European or international suppliers. Additional Procurement, Supply Chain or Project Management qualifications would be desirable assets.
You will be a keen and active learner who has the ability to adapt to new processes and systems with ease. As well as being highly numerate with strong IT skills, you will need to have amazing project management skills with the ability to liaise and influence at all levels to really drive projects forward.
