They are growing their team and this is a critical role where you will take ownership of all the procurement requirements of clients in order to help deliver projects and bring products to market. This could be anything from sourcing new ingredients, finding a manufacturing partner that has the capability and capacity, interesting packaging formats, negotiate contracts and lots more. You will be able to utilise your network within the food and drink industry to come up with solutions and present great options for the clients that are to brief and cost effective.
We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Procurement Co-Ordinator or Junior Buyer who has previously worked within food manufacturing, retail or an FMCG environment looking for a step up. Resourceful and able to work at a fast pace, you’ll need to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and be able to build on your existing relationships with suppliers. You’ll be able to adapt to a variety of different tasks from administrative to complex and cross functional business projects. A commercial mind-set with the ability to negotiate is also essential alongside excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
