The Role

Reporting to the Head of Development you’ll be responsible for managing key projects from the decision making stage all the way to launch. You will work with internal teams and customers to ensure all the key milestones and customer launch dates are met. This will mean adeptly managing cross-functional teams within sales, technical and production to as well as clearly communicating the project status at critical milestones. You’ll need to be proactive and use your judgement how to facilitate problem resolution as well as know when to escalate issues that may impact on the successful completion of projects.

The Person

Suit a Food Science or Technology graduate who has demonstrated successful project management skills within NPD or Process Development in a complex product category. You will have honed your ability to meticulously plan and prioritise your workload in line with the NPD critical path as well as influence key stakeholders to ensure project delivery. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks with a drive for results and a high customer focus.

Ideally you will have some previous experience of managing a cross-function team where you’ve had to engage at all levels and functions with the ability to problem solve with tact and diplomacy. The ability to manage multiple projects at different stages in the NPD process is also key to success in this role.
