They are now seeking a like-minded NPD Technologist who can push the boundaries to help achieve further market success in line with their high quality standards.
Reporting to the NPD Manager you’ll be contributing to the development of innovative new concepts whilst updating existing products in line with the critical path as well as customer briefs and emerging consumer trends. You’ll be assisting with the preparation and generation of samples for internal and external presentations as well as coordinating factory trials to ensure all products are produced to the best quality standards whilst remaining cost efficient. In addition you’ll be running taste panels and market reports, monitoring product performance and applying your findings to provide new product solutions that will ensure this company maintains its position and reputation within their sector.
We are looking for a food science / technology graduate who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to utilise their developed NPD skills. You’ll have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally within the chilled sector. You’ll have an understanding of the development process including both creative and technical elements coupled with the ability to prioritise and organise your work effectively. Great interpersonal skills are essential as well as the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
