In this fast paced and challenging role you will use your tenacity and excellent business development skills to explore new opportunities and develop key customer accounts within the food industry. In addition you’ll evaluate sales and category data, generating reports to reflect consumer trends and insights. Organising category information to support new product proposals whilst applying your market knowledge and research to provide reliable commercial insight into the performance of SKUs
As an ambassador for the company you will liaise with internal colleagues as well as your customer base to offer advice on suitable new products that will keep their ranges in line with current trends. You will also be providing product solutions that will achieve profit and margin targets whilst increasing fulfilling customer commercial needs and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.
We are looking for a tenacious and commercially astute Junior Account Manager who has previous experience within food. You’ll thrive on working under pressure and excel in achieving sales targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth. Experience of establishing and maintaining successful relationships with the major foodservice and retail accounts is essential, where you have developed first rate communication, negotiation and organisation skills.
