Well regarded as one of the most established food manufacturers in the UK, this company produce inspirational food products for the UK major retailers. An exciting Commercial position has arisen to help drive and develop their business strategy on an interim basis.
In this distinguished Interim Commercial role, you’ll be managing your own retail accounts and develop both new and existing business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering business plans across multiple accounts within the UK retail market whilst being the main contact for your customers, developing and maintaining effective relationships in order to sustain and grow business.
Other accountabilities will include accurate forecasting across the product portfolio, price negotiation and planning, full P&L responsibility and budgeting as well as elements of category management and marketing. You’ll also conduct category reviews and use your extensive retail and product knowledge to influence key decision makers and drive business forward.
You will be an insightful Commercial or National Account Manager with a proven track record of success in an FMCG environment. You’ll have a good understanding of food manufacturing processes in order to provide successful product solutions. Driven and motivated to achieve fantastic results, you impress customers and colleagues alike with your excellent negotiation, influencing and project management skills. Understanding the customer is at the heart of what you do, willing to share knowledge and able to work in a collaborative manner to achieve shared goals.
