As a leader in their field they are experiencing continual growth and are now seeking an accomplished Head of Brand who can help them stay ahead of their competitors.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Director this Head of Brand role will form a key part of the senior management team. You’ll be responsible for the development of strategic initiatives that will deliver key growth opportunities and ultimately increase product sales for this established brand. Heading up a small team you’ll use your expertise to create marketing campaigns and processes whilst supporting the roll out and successful launch of strategies across multiple markets. You’ll be the brand champion, enhancing the in-store presence and taking ownership of promoting company values whilst ensuring a consistent brand message for your stakeholders and customers.
A major aspect of the role will also include thorough and comprehensive market research, using your experience and skills to conduct analysis and modeling which will give the business a competitive advantage and highlight new marketing opportunities. You’ll draw on a wide range of sources to identify key trends and patterns within your customer base, using the information to take advantage of business development opportunities from new product ideas to pricings and promotional activity
We are looking for a motivated Marketing professional who is educated to degree level and has experience of working in a similar role within the UK food retail or manufacturing industries. You’ll have a good understanding of the technical and purchasing functions within an FMCG environment. Innovative in your approach, you’ll have first class communication, people management and organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver projects on time.
A strong commercial acumen along with knowledge of consumer and shopper insights is preferred, alongside great analytical skills which will enable you to effectively explore and apply internal and external research data. In addition you’ll be a natural problem solver and strategic thinker who can take the reins and make things happen.
