They are now seeking a tenacious Development Chef to help them continue to deliver nothing less than excellence in order to retain their prominent market position.
This is an amazing chance for a creative and experienced Development Chef to work as part of this energetic NPD department where you’ll use your culinary skills to develop recipes for new and existing products. Working closely with the NPD team, you will embrace projects and seize new market opportunities to create innovative ranges whilst updating existing product lines for major multiple accounts. In this customer facing role you will liaise closely with major retail contacts to drive innovation within this fast moving category, presenting them with blue sky concepts derived from emerging consumer trends to design products that will make an impact in the market place. You will also work with internal teams to ensure your products are in line with production expectations whilst being commercially viable in order to launch ranges successfully to market and leave consumers wanting more.
This is a high profile, customer focused role so you will need to have excellent communication and food presentation skills along with the ability to effectively articulate your ideas. Experience of working within food manufacturing is essential where you have demonstrated the ability to take on responsibility for growing your innovative category to the highest of standards. As well as having a strong commercial awareness and creative flair, you’ll have experience of encouraging creative thinking within a team and will enjoy keeping up to date with new food trends.
