You’ll play an influential role in creating delicious concepts that have the potential to be market leading products across a broad product sector. Working within the creative NPD team you’ll be managing a number of product briefs working to revitalise existing ranges and develop new products that will impress and amaze your customers. As well as developing and testing new recipes you will also be managing costings, organising internal and external presentations, carrying out competitor reviews and liaising with ingredients suppliers. In addition to having a natural talent for blue sky development you’ll also be responsible for ensuring that current products are performing well, adapting recipes where necessary to reflect customer expectations and changes in this dynamic market place.
We are looking for a Development Chef who is passionate about their food and career and looking to utilise their culinary skills and creative talents in a professional and supportive food manufacturing environment. It is essential that you have previous food manufacturing experience where you will have developed successful products for either a high street food retailer or one of the major multiples. You must also be able to learn and develop new techniques and processes quickly, and your organisation and presentation skills will be second to none.
