In this dynamic role you’ll support National Account Managers with the day to day running of the commercial function, seeking out opportunities to exceed budgeted and targeted sales revenue, volume and contribution. You’ll liaise with all crucial functions internally whilst building strong relationships with key customer contacts at a range of levels. Ensuring awareness of customer requirements you’ll actively identify methods of improvement alongside driving, delivering and implementing the business plans. In addition you’ll be analysing sales volumes and profit targets as well as providing performance KPI’s of the site. Finally, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all internal commercial documents and undertaking additional supportive tasks where required.
We are looking for an outgoing and motivated individual with strong commercial acumen and a passion for keeping up to date with the latest food trends. Previous experience in a similar sales or commercial role within the food industry would be highly advantageous. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also vital as you’ll be working to deadlines where you’ll be constantly assessing priorities and resolving enquiries.
